Orchidea: Brooklyn's Premier Upscale Kosher Dairy Restaurant

This upscale kosher dairy restaurant is the best in all of NYC!!!! I came here for a family celebration on Tuesday night. It was just a block away from the D train station at 50th st, right in the middle of the busy Hasidic Boro Park neighborhood of Brooklyn. First thing I ordered was a peanut butter drink, and this drink was so delicious and mind blowing! It was like drinking Reeses Puffs cereal!!! I would come again many times just for the peanut butter drink! I had to get a second one! My family ordered the sourdough pizza to share, and it was so fantastic! The sourdough pizza has to be the crowning dish of the restaurant! I ended with the Fettuccine Broccoli, which I had never had before, and it was so flavorful and savory! Plus, the waitstaff, owners and managers were so friendly, helpful, courteous and fast! My family intends to return to Orchidea many times from now on!

The smoothie was good but not as thick and frozen as I like. The sourdough baguette crispy and the pizza had a lovely crunch and homemade sauce with portobello mushrooms. The spinach and mushroom raviolis were generously stuffed and outstanding. The fresh tuna was perfectly cooked to rare and the salmon strips were crispy on the skin but not overcooked. Excellent! The manager Yousouf was incredibly polite and helpful and added to the experience.

No at least it's kind of big absolutely fantastic customer service! Delicious food and a delicious variety of Frozen or hot drinks. The limonana frozen drink was absolutely refreshing and full of flavor! The tilapia skewers were crunchy and lite. The pasta with eggplant parmesan was not heavy and still crispy! The spelt sourdough totally surprised us we had someone with us who can only eat spelt and they were absolutely delighted!

Great staff, friendly and personable (thx Leah), along with a nice atmosphere. Excellent eggplant from the buffet, reminded me of my Italian grandmother's which was always delicious. So enjoyed coffee with desserts. The cream filled square cracker sandwiches were absolutely delightful. You must try them!

Really everything I would want from a dairy restaurant. Nice decor, good service, beautiful plating and most of all delicious food. The biggest wow is that you actually get decent portions not the tiny stay hungry portion you get by other high class restaurants. Prices aren't too cheap but you really get what you pay for here. Highly recommended.

Located just a block away from the D train, Orchidea offers an exceptional dining experience with not only amazing food, but also top-notch service and a wonderful atmosphere. The wait staff were not only extremely helpful, but also kind and attentive to every detail, making the experience truly memorable. The food itself was truly heavenly, and so delicious that it was difficult to resist diving in before taking any photos. It was clear that the chefs put a great deal of care and attention into crafting each dish, resulting in a truly exceptional culinary experience. In addition to the food and service, the atmosphere of the restaurant was also noteworthy. It was clear that this was a high-class establishment, and the overall ambiance was both inviting and sophisticated. The absence of on-site parking was not a concern, as the location is conveniently situated near public transportation. All in all, this establishment comes highly recommended and is sure to leave a lasting impression on any diner lucky enough to partake in its offerings. With such a wonderful experience, my family and I will definitely return for our next celebration.
